Let’s just take a second to appreciate that Loki fights like his mum.
And that’s awesome.
OMG and it makes so much sense because Loki is built similar to his mom, so her fighting style would suit him much better than his father’s, who is built much more like Thor.
I don’t like the never-ending fawning/forgiveness some fans put on Loki, but damn if I can’t appreciate Tom Hiddleston like a bastard.
okay I just have to spell it out one more time how this movie gave aggressive, arrogant, generally associated with all things dudely Thor a character arc where he had to learn how to be humble and think of how his actions affect others and acknowledge and APOLOGIZE for his mistakes. To be “worthy,” Thor had to cast aside all the selfish dudebro warrior tendencies he learned growing up in Asgard and learn how to see when to admit his bad judgment and ask for forgiveness from the people he hurt instead of solving problems with more fighting. This could’ve so easily been a movie about a macho dude who was stripped of his masculinity (via his status/power) and ran around punching things to earn it back, all while wooing some earth girl with how big and macho he was. And it was the exact opposite.
EVERYTHING WENT BETTER THAN EXPECTED WITH THIS MOVIE AND IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY. :D
THIS IS WHY I RATE THOR SO HIGHLY GUISE SRSLY
basically, remember when thor openly apologise to loki for whatever he thinks fucked him up but then he still went on to attempt genocide?
yeah im gonna reblog this again and
#thor is 3000% better than loki will ever be
But no one in Loki’s family ever tried to make amends! Ever!
Oh, fucking WAIT.
I know there are people who don’t understand why this scene was cut, but I think it was cut because we can all clearly take away this same idea—that Clint was fighting like a bastard on the inside—in the fact that he missed at all. Think about it: Once he’s un-Loki’ed, he hits EVERYTHING. EVEN LOKI. He only misses with the gun and once with the bow with Nat because she out-maneuvered him. But clear Loki out of his head, and Clint can take the wings off a fly at fifty paces.
There is no way that is the sound the shield hitting Loki’s hand makes. Ever. I’m certain.
Ooooh, but NO ONE TRIED TO SHOW LOKI LOVE.
EXCEPT HIS ENTIRE FUCKING FAMILY.
Preview of the almost finished Agent Coulson and Loki print I’ll be selling at the NEW YORK COMIC CON this weekend!
Even more glorious given Saturday’s NYCC news, re: COULSON LIVES MOTHERFUCKERS.
“You know, you’ve grown up all right, haven’t you?”
Is that Fenrir? This is actually sort of sweet and wonderful in that super-twisted Loki way.
