Good job, guys! I’m sure no one in editorial thought twice about killing off Vixen to give John Stewart and Hawkgirl a chance to fuck again (It’s cool. A village elder okayed their boinking RIGHT AFTER VIXEN’S FUNERAL.).
And then they had a baby, and he is surprisingly pale for having his dad be John Stewart who is, in every variation (including THIS ONE) a dark-skinned man.
Guess which book I’m dropping?

I’ve always been weirded out by Hawkman’s lineage ever since they revealed John to be his father in JLU. But this just takes the cake.
